For any that happen across this site, it's worth noting that real life has asserted itself. At this time I don't foresee any more posts being made here. The future however is hard to see, so no long term promises. Now and then a miracle does come along. I've shutdown the Age of Heroes offering at Lulu, the errata for that will continue to exist here.
This is all for the best as I've come to realize that the style of design I embrace and its goals have all be disappeared from the hobby. This in fact may be its last grave marker as it goes on to join other elements of a dying culture. Such is history, good things last but a short time.
For any friends I've met along the way, thanks. It was worthwhile.

Didn't some folks over at theRPGsite just pick up AoH, Brian?
I don't think your style of design has disappeared from the hobby. I do however think that by their nature the investment required to make games of that style into popular items to fans of that particular style makes it very difficult for them to be created.
What I mean is, you want to create highly detailed games that emulate reality as feasibly as a game can. (In my estimation that's your goal anyway.) There are LOTS of gamers who love that sort of game, the problem is that they have their pet game already and there isn't a lot of reason for them to move away from it. You made a game for old gamers who are set in their ways. That's a hard market to crack, especially on a limited budget for marketing and supplements.
I don't know if you're still checking this, but reading through Christopher Tolkien's "The History of Middle Earth", I came across the time line for the second age. As I recall, your campaign was set in the second age, and now I'm wondering exactly when.
Checking it very rarely.
Our Second Age campaign is set at S.A. 1000 during the first major exploration push by NĂºmenor.
