Morrow Project Reading Material

Over the last couple of weeks I've been talking a bit about our upcoming Morrow Project campaign. I typically do a fair amount of research for any campaign, and while doing that I came across this book which is excellent inspiration/background for the type of people our group will draw a number of characters from- as well as a real life glimpse into the type of mixed technology/culture enviroment a project team could find itself neck deep in.

And it's not bad for getting some background on the real world either.

Well... alright. What's TMP about?

It's about a group of people selected for a mission. The mission they get is far different from the one they signed up for.

It's about diversity. Morrow wasn't sure what sort of team would be most effective. So he threw a whole lot of different approaches at the problem.

So, yeah. Maybe you're a bunch of ex-convicts with AK-47s. Morrow might have done that. He was one crazy dude.

Such is my impression of TMP in any case.

The mission they wake up to is exactly the same mission they were selected for. The only difference was that the starting plan was SNAFU and they're on their own (at least at the start).

And no, Morrow wasn't one crazy dude. At least not in my setting. And they did have an idea of what would be most effective. Ex-Cons with AK-47s wasn't on the list.
